Description/History – An amazing oil that must be respected in its use. A little goes a long way. The emotion associated with Birch is one of support and strength. Historically this oil has been used to help with discomfort in muscles and bones. It has a smell similar to root beer and chemically is very similar to Wintergreen. It is high in methyl salicylate and has a warming sensation when applied topically. It is great to use in massage blends as its warming sensation can be so helpful for the muscles.
